Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the seminar center “Leinsweiler Hof”, a former winegrowing estate which is located in the small village Leinsweiler at about 40 km distance from Karlsruhe (sw. Germany) and 20 km distance from Wissembourg (France).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This place is part of the German region Rhineland-Palatinat (Rheinland-Pfalz), which spreads from the endless vineyards of the Rhine valley to the dark and hilly wood land of the Pfälzer Wald, which is famous for its countless number medieval castles.

 

 

 

The conference venue is situated in immediate vicinity to the famous castle Reichsburg Trifels (11th century) where Richard the Lionheart (Richard I of England) was imprisoned in 1193 after he had been captured on his return from the 3rd crusade.
